SOKC presents computer class series for seniors

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library continues its series of free computer classes with a three-part set of classes geared to seniors who may be learning about computers for the first time.

Classes take place at 10:30 a.m. on consecutive Tuesdays in the Computer Training Center of the library, 2201 SW 134th St. The classes give participants a chance to get hands-on experience of several skills at the computer.

SOKC invites NaNoWriMo participants to come together on Sundays

It’s time again for NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month, an annual initiative seeking to inspire would-be novel writers to spend November at work to try to complete their masterpiece in a month.

And the Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library is giving a hand to writers. The library will have space available for NaNoWriMo participants on Sundays throughout November from 1 to 5:30 p.m. each day.
