Noble’s “Maker Mondays” focuses on spooky crafts for October

The Noble Public Library is giving local children a chance to learn hands-on skills at its weekly Maker Mondays programs, set for 3 p.m. most Mondays at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

The library hosts Maker Mondays series with a monthly theme each time. This month’s series will focus on a variety of spooky crafts leading up to the end of the month, with programs on Oct. 6, 13, 20 and 27.

Teen Film Club beginning another year of film making in Noble

Get a start in film making with the Noble Public Library’s Teen Film Club, which meets at 4 p.m. Wednesdays while school is in session.

Participants will learn all elements of film making, help plan projects and take part in filming at or around the library as they begin working toward completed films for an annual film festival.

Learn a variety of paper crafts at library’s “Maker Mondays”

The Noble Public Library is giving local children a chance to learn hands-on skills at its weekly Maker Mondays programs, set for 3 p.m. most Mondays at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

The library hosts Maker Mondays series with a monthly theme each time. This month’s series will focus on paper crafts, with programs on Sept. 8, 15, 22 and 29. The library is closed for Labor Day Sept. 1.

Noble’s Homework Helpers resume afterschool aid for students

The Noble Public Library has resumed its Homework Helpers program twice a week for students with the beginning of the school year

Community volunteers will set up in the Coman Culbert Community Room at the library from 3:30 to 5 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday while school is in session this fall.

Noble hosts Lego Robotics series for teens in September

The Noble Public Library invites local teens to its Lego Robotics series, taking place weekly throughout September at 5:30 p.m. at the library, 204 N. 5th St. Programs are set for Sept. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.

It’s a chance for teens to gather at the library each week to work on a series of challenges by designing, building and programming Lego robotic creations.
