Noble Teen Tuesdays group dives into Lego Robotics

image of LegoThe Noble Public Library’s Teen Tuesdays program looks at the world of Lego Robotics in its December get-togethers, set for 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2, 9 and 16, at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

Teens in seventh through 12th grades are invited to be part of the group, where they will design, build and program their own Lego robots to solve a series of challenges.

Come to Noble’s Tadpole Tuesdays in December

It’s Tuesday morning at the Noble Public Library, which means some of the library’s youngest visitors are invited to Tadpole Tuesdays, which take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings in December.

The library hosts weekly programs geared to ages 2-5 and their caregivers, with a variety of learning activities.

Noble presents annual Holiday Gala

The Noble Public Library welcomes the community to celebrate the holiday season with its annual Holiday Gala, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

The evening features a variety of crafts, performances, cookies, cocoa and activities for all ages, as well as a visit from Santa Claus for pictures and visits with children.

And at 6:45 p.m., the activities will move across the street for a Community Tree Lighting presented by the Southwest Prevention Center, Healthy Noble Youth, Healthy Noble Partnership and the Noble Parents as Teachers Affiliate.

Noble welcomes OKC Zoo for “Trees of Winter” presentation

The Noble Public Library welcomes representatives from the Oklahoma City Zoo for the program “Trees of Winter,” at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

It will be a trip through the world of winter trees, from Christmas trees to holly leaves, and a look at some of the animals that call these trees their winter homes.

Noble hosts teen robotic workshop

The Noble Public Library invites local teens to two upcoming Lego Robotics programs, at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 and 25 at the library, 204 N. 5th St.

It’s a chance for teens to gather at the library to work on a series of challenges by designing, building and programming Lego robotic creations.
